Tidio Chat is a web-based live chat software which combines messages from emails, Facebook Messenger, and website chat into a unified agent interface, enabling agents to deal with all customer messages at the same time, with the same tools, regardless of which channel they come in from.
Embedding Tidio on your website is a very simple process that will help you boost your sales and allow you to be in contact with your customers 24/7.
Here is what we'll cover in this article:
Let’s take a quick tour of Tidio and set it up on your website. First of all, you will need to register a Tidio account . Now login and go to the Channels page:
Here you will be able to edit and style your chat window:
When your chat is ready and looks amazing, we can embed it on your website. To do this, let’s go to the ‘Integrations’ tab:
Now, copy the code and paste it into your website codebase. You can also ask your developer for help or contact Tidio support.
You can also use the chat link to test your setup or to share it with a client. To do this, go to the ‘Chat on Site tab’:
Now, copy the url and paste it in your browser so you can start testing your setup. The messages will immediately appear in your Tidio account:
Now that our chat is setup, let’s integrate it with amoCRM.
Tidio integration is configured in the Tidio setting. It’s not necessary to install the widget in amoCRM itself.
Here are the simple steps:
- Go to your Tidio account and go to the Settings page
- Choose the Integrations tab
- Find and click amoCRM:
Enter your amoCRM credentials:
Please note that the LiveChat integration only creates Contacts in amoCRM, not Leads.
After our setup is done, we can start testing the automation. To do this, I will start a chat in our chat link. The chat will appear in my Tidio chat panel.
Here we can save the contact in amoCRM. For that press on the 3 dots sign in the top left corner, right above the information card and click on the ‘ Save to amoCRM sign’:
Now the contact will get created in amoCRM:
